Liza Snyder

Snyder was born in Northampton, Massachusetts. She has a father who is associate professor of theatre and music in Smith College. She has maternal grandparents who were a five-time Academy Award-winning composer, Johnny Green, and the actress and reporter for the consumer, Betty Furness. Snyder was a graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City, where she learned from Sanford Meisner. The career of Snyder began with episodes of television dramas like The Trials of Rosie O'Neill, and Murder, She Wrote. In 1993, she secured the leading role of Molly Whelan in the ABC and later the syndicated crime show Sirens. Following the cancellation of the show, she co-starred in two TV movies made for television, and guest starred on Chicago Hope, and Pacific Blue. From 1998 to 1999, she was regular actor on the NBC sitcom Jesse with Christina Applegate. In the Pay It Forward show, produced by Mimi Leder, she played a minor role. Snyder began her acting career as Christine Hughes, a CBS sitcom Yes, Dear, later the same year. The series ended in 2006. In the years following, Yes, Dear, Snyder had a five-year hiatus. In 2011, she made her return to the screen with a guest-starring part in an episode of House, playing a patient in need of a lung transplant. In 2013, she reprised Yes, Dear in an episode of Raising Hope from 2013. Liza Liza Liza
